FreshDesk raises $55 million for its customer support SaaS platform

FreshDesk, the startup behind a cloud-based customer support software, announced today that it has closed a whopping $55 million investment round.Sequoia Capital India led the series F funding round, followed by returning investor Accel Partners.

The San Bruno, Calif.-based SaaS startup says its service has attracted over 80,000 customers, double the clients since its previous funding round in April 2015. Toshiba and Cisco are among FreshDesk’s customers.
